The Study Wizard
Every study starts with the creation wizard — a guided 6-step process that takes you from a rough research idea to a fully configured, AI-led interview ready for participants.
Steps
Research Context
Enter your company domain, choose a research category, select your study type (conversational or WhatsApp), and set a target duration (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes). This gives the AI context to generate relevant, industry-specific questions calibrated to your interview length.
Study Brief
Describe what you want to learn in plain language. The AI uses this to frame your research and generate a polished brief.
Learning Goals
Review and edit AI-generated objectives and questions. Each objective groups related questions that explore a key research area.
AI Interviewer
Configure the persona, voice, and welcome message for your AI interviewer. Choose from presets or clone your own voice.
Test & Preview
Run a test interview to check the question flow, follow-up logic, and overall experience before sending to participants.
Launch
Publish your study and create distribution links. Share with participants and start collecting responses immediately.
Study Types
Fyreside supports two study types, each with a different interview channel:
Conversational (Voice/Video)
AI-led voice or video interviews conducted in the browser. Best for in-depth qualitative research where tone, emotion, and nuance matter.
Automated chat-based interviews via WhatsApp. Great for high-volume feedback, reaching mobile-first audiences, or running asynchronous studies.
